How do you source your specimens?
Luna Moths - These are native to my area, and I raise them myself. I breed captive females with wild males. No wild specimens are taken from nature. Excess eggs are given back to nature, left in trees that are their native food source.
All other specimens are sourced from overseas closed environment farms and are not taken from nature.
I grow, process and dry all of the florals that go into my art. Each flower is handpicked by myself. I have probably too many roses on my property, and I choose the annuals I grow every year.
